He is the Finance Manager of VSO International Uganda and has worked with Save The Children. He has strong Knowledge of NGO Education Programs and has experience in Financial management of NGOs.

Ms. Esther Mwambu

She is assistant Principle Assistant Editor, Hansard, the parliament of Uganda and has experience handling publications and lobbying through legislators.

Ms. Jaqueline N. Akello

She is the Secretary of the African Rural Development University and has knowledge of rural development with innovations on Girls’ education. She posesses strong skills in working with grassroots communities.

She is the Assistant Commissioner, Tutor Education in the Ministry Of Education and Sports. She has experience in Education Sector. She is also knowledgeable about managing Business, Technical, and Vocational Education Training institutions.

Seraphine Awacango

Chief Executive Officer



Seraphine Awacango is a development expert who has devoted more than 20 years of her professional career supporting the development sector interventions. She has provided both advisory and direct implementation services to development partners, government agencies, national nonprofit organizations and community based organizations.  She has experience in organization development including strategic planning, Gender mainstreaming, financial management, Research and evaluation. She is an experienced trainer and has trained as Master trainer, TOT, mentor and coach. In addition, she has worked over the years in program development and implementation in emergencies, refugee settlements. Seraphine has experience working with international development partners and successfully managed big grants for development interventions.  She is involved with the Ugandan Ministry of education and Sports, Ministry of gender labor youth and social development plus related agencies to formulate, review and implement policies in the sector. She has expertise working with young people in a multicultural setting.  Seraphine has worked with implementing partners and provided capacity building in organizational development, program development and management.

She is a member of the Lions club, Women’s networks and other voluntary associations.

Evelyne Byonabye Mugisa
Finance and Administration Manager


Evelyne is a finance professional with close to 10 years of experience in financial management in the
nonprofit sector. She has expert knowledge in systems management and controls, multi-donor grants
management including expense and budget controls. She also has past experience working with the
private sector where she previously worked with Speke Resort Munyonyo and Munyonyo common
wealth resort. She holds a bachelors of commerce degree in accounting and pursuing a proffesional
course (ACCA).

Fudri Phillip

Programmes Officer

 

Phillip has over eight years of progressive skills, knowledge and experience in diverse areas of Education, Community development, Community Protection, Livelihood, project implementation, community mobilisation and Data collection in both National and International organizations within a fragile refugee and disaster affected context.

He is currently based in Bidibidi implementing the Gender Responsive Education and Child Protection in the Refugee and Host Communities in West Nile (GREP-WN) funded by ECW under MYRP II funding mechanism in Partnership with Plan International.

Eva Nabirye

Gender And Inclusion Coordinator

 

 

Eva is a Passionate and dedicated gender and development Professional with a proven track record of advancing gender equality and promoting social inclusion. She is experienced in designing and implementing gender-sensitive programs and advocating for policy changes. She is skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders to create positive impacts among refugees and marginalized communities. 

Eva has excellent knowledge of evidence-based advocacy, policy and research for strategy development and implementation. She possesses extensive programme design and management experience for education, SRHR, livelihoods, climate smart and sustainable development. 

Eva holds a Masters of arts in Economic Policy Management (MUK), B.A Economics (MUK), PGD in Monitoring and Evaluation(UMI), Gender change makers certificate from Digital Frontiers Institute South Africa.

Sekamwa Georffrey

Program Officer – Bridge Project

 

Georffrey is a professional teacher and a humanitarian worker with diverse experience of working both in development and emergencies. He has previously worked with Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) as a mathematics Examiner and  also with Save the Children as a Programs Officer Education and Child protection from Kyangwali field office on (ECHO-INCLUDE POJECT) where he gathered maximum experience of working under emergency situations.

 Ayikoru Alice

Program Officer Playmatters Project

 

 

Alice is Result – driven professional with over eight years of experience in designing and implementing Education Projects, including Early Childhood Care and Development, Community Led Learning and Accelerated Education Program in both humanitarian and development contexts. Additionally, she possesses 3 years’ experience in Community Heath with a bias in community hygiene, HIV Prevention and Care.

She is a seasoned team player who excels in collaborative environments, and fosters strong relationships with various stakeholders in social services. Much as Alice holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Project Planning and Management from Makerere University, she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in development studies from Uganda Christian University.

Tom Kasalawo

Tom Kasalawo is a seasoned educational juggernaut and aficionado with over 10 years of global cutting-edge job completion experience in curriculum development, finance & business management, program design, partnerships, Monitoring and Evaluation, resource mobilization, and grants management. He is a team orchestrator and holds a meritorious award from Teach for All for achieving high Community and school Impact. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a bias in accounting and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Leadership and Management. Tom has previously executed high-level assignments at Educate!, Teach For Uganda, Elevate: Partners for Education, LEM-Mindfulness, Wezesha Impact, Teach a Man To Fish, and PEDN among others

Joy Evans Kasiko – Program Officer – Bridge Project


Joy is a Social Development worker and holds a Bachelor’s  Degree of Adult and Community Education  from Makerere University. She also holds a Diploma in Social Work and Social Development and a Certificate in Child Advocacy from Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Work and Social Development. Joy has a wealth of experience  working  in multifaceted Education intervention disciplines.

Christine is a passionate and dedicated Adult educator with Bachelors in Adult and Community Education. She possesses comprehensive knowledge of lifelong learning and expertise in creating engaging learning sessions that promote critical thinking, problem solving and active participation. More so she is committed to Rehabilitation and Inclusion of PWDs, Gender Mainstreaming, community Protection, continuous Professional Development and staying current with best practices in Education to ensure highest level of learning outcomes.

Ichapo Jane Antonia

Technical Advisor


Jane is a Senior Tutor and is currently teaching in St Mary’s Primary teachers’ College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a background in Teacher Education. Her subject of specialization is Science Education and Professional Education studies. Has 21 years’ experience as a Teacher Educator. She is also affiliated to Kyambogo University training upgrading teachers in Special Needs Education in the External Program specifically on Professional Courses.

Bashaija Mpairwe Arthur  – Meal Officer – Comprehensive Primary Education for Refugee Girls and Boys Project


Arthur has a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Works and Social Administration. He has a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation and Advanced Excel from LIDA Africa. He is currently in the process of undertaking a PGD in Monitoring and Evaluation at UMI. His past experiences are well aligned with Data collection, Events Management, Itinerary Development and Management  and Team Management to motivate and provide direction to teams.

Denish Lubangakene – MEAL Officer – PlayMatters Project

 


Denish holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Community Based Rehabilitation from Kyambogo University (Uganda), and a post-graduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute (Uganda) with vast expertise in the field of Disability Inclusion, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management and Peace Building. He has over ten years of experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating education projects in the remote region of Northern Uganda. Based on his rich education, professional, and leadership experiences, Denish oversees MEAL function at ELECU under the PlayMatters education project.
